Pitchers Duel
Two nights, two games, two pitchers to photograph!
Al's still a beast.
Julie trying to beat out a bunt.
They look cute now but these people were teasing me mercilessly. The worst part was Handy Manny. He was encouraging it!
Jacob got the call for his team too. I'm not sure how many games he has pitched but he looked pretty much at ease on the mound.
The very next inning the sent him behind the plate. Talk about being a utility player!

Sorry for the wait
I finally had time to upload a proof my pictures from Monday night. These are the sweet ones. Sitting behind the back stop helped a ton with the angle of my photos but then I just had to deal with the fence. It freaked out my lens and it's way too hard to manual focus and shoot sports.
This one is my favorite. Al's a beast.
This is what you do when you get tired of trying to get good action shots... or during the inning changes.

Softball & Prom
Woah.... I have about a million pictures to post. Busy weekends = lots of photos
Saturday morning softball games... we have to go back when it isn't raining. Al's a beast and throws the ball so dang fast that I can't get a shot where her hand isn't blurry. Maybe some sunshine would help that out.
I missed her only hit because I was complaining about something... I should pay better attention especially when the purpose of my being there is to take pictures!
Saturday afternoon: Fun time with Caiden and getting our hair "did". Loved the fun hair and nails. I felt like such a girly girl.
Saturday night... PROM (number 4 for me, number 6 for Richie)

Friday Night Lights
Well there really weren't any lights but I liked the title.
I got my camera out for a little sports photography. This time it was much easier than the swim meet debacle where the terrible lighting gave me blurry photos. I wanted to get closer but not be a pest since there were people who were actually watching the game instead of trying to get good action shots. My one recomendation would be a score board for the field. Most of the time I had no idea what inning it was or what the score was. I could tell from the grandma from the visiting team that was complaining next to us that her team wasn't winning.
My attempts at being a sports photographer:
This one is my favorite. I like how you can see the ball on the right edge. Richie says it was luck that I got it in there but I think it's my amazing photo skills. Ha!
