Instead of getting ready for work this morning I decided to stand in the road and take pictures of the sun rise. I probably looked pretty funny out there at 6:00 am in my pj's and Handy's flip flops but the sky was lovely.

I'm glad I took a few minutes to enjoy it.

Meet Vilma

This girl is our World Vision sponsor child.

For the same price as a tank of gas we can improve her quality of life.

What is child sponsorship?

Wonderful things happen when you make the choice to sponsor a child. For only about $1 a day, you'll show your child God's unconditional love by providing them with access to critical resources such as:

  • Clean Water
  • Nutritious food
  • Health care
  • Education

Lost in Translation

It appears that "staff appreciation week" is really code for "consuming 3000 calories of deliciousness daily".

I don't think I have ever seen a cinnamon roll larger than this one... It's sitting on a full size dinner plate.

Mighty Mouth

We gave Bevo a Galileo bone for his birthday. We know he loves to chew things so we thought this bone... which was advertised as being one of the strongest available... would be good for him.

About five min. after he started chewing we had to take it from him. It seems his biters are even stronger than we thought.

Thank goodness we bought the bone with a satisfaction guarantee. They will be sending us a new bone, in the largest size available for free.

Tis the Season

It's the time of year to start making the rounds to see everyone play baseball.

We went to watch Zach last week and I actually managed to get a few photos of him
looking like he was playing, the rest of the time he was providing the comic relief... and it sure was funny.
