Project Life: Week 23

Sunday: The Girly is finally fitting into her Longhorn onesie. Now I feel like she has to wear it all the time since she will grow out of it so quick... Hook 'em Horns!

Monday: Handy Manny got to be handy on Monday. I'm pretty sure the shower head is supposed to be in the shower... not in his hand in the kitchen. One trip to Lowes later and the new shower head is where it's supposed to be

Tuesday: The Girly is 2 months old!

Stats: 10 lbs 4 oz. 23 inches long (still in the 25th and 75th percentile for weight and length). We finally moved up to size 1 diapers. Her clothing is mainly 0-3 / 3 month size with newborn pants. She is sleeping 6 hours at night and (sometimes) takes 2-3 naps during the day. It's easier to get things done now that she eats every 2.5 - 3 hours.

She loves to go places. She sleeps in the car and is usually pleasant when we are shopping/visiting/eating. She had to get some shots at the doctor this month and screamed her head off when they poked her. She drools a lot and likes to leave wet spots on our clothes. We have taken her to church the last 3 weeks. The play mat with the blinking star is her favorite toy and she loves to smile.

Wednesday: I'm so glad it's grilling season! We had our first ears of corn on the cob. They were pretty good.

Thursday: This is what happens when I get to shop at Kohl's. I hadn't been there to shop for myself since the Girly was born. Of course I got things for her and Handy too.

Friday: The Peanut loves the new toy she got for her car seat. I love that it's an elephant and she loves that it jingles when it moves.

Saturday: We left the Girly with Nana for an hour and this is what we found when we got back. Apparently every girl needs their toenails painted for the summer... even if they happen to have the smallest toenails ever!
