Lazy Sunday

Sunny dog...

and scrapbook pages.

Some new pictures of Mr. B and some old pictures of Bryce and Richie. I love Bryce's spaghettios on his face. Those pictures are over a year old and I am just now getting around to scrapping them! Better late than never I suppose.

Entourage

It seems our dog has his own entourage.

This is how he spends his nights:

Chasing his ball and getting love from his peeps. It's tough but somebody has to do it!

Crafty Crafty

While we were cleaning up all the debris in our yard I noticed that there were these cute little pine cones all over the place. I told Richie to pick some up since I wanted to put them into the old Yankee Candle glass cylinder. A little bit of ribbon and some scrapbook glue later we had a cute little decoration for our living room!

Windy Weather

Lots of wind + Big trees = Seeing the town backhoe pushing tree trunks out of the street.

Thank goodness none of these were in our yard. We did have some leaves and things to pick up which gave me the excuse to break out my gardening gloves I got last Christmas.

Door Decoration

We put our wreath back on the door after the wind went away. We had it up for about an hour on Sunday night but when things started blowing down the street Richie thought it might be a good idea to bring it in the house.

It looks perfect!

Football Night

Since I wanted to do something fun Richie and I decided to have a Browns party for the Browns - Steelers game.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that it turns out better than the Buckeyes game last night.

I made "dawg bites" as a snack ...

and Richie made some homemade Chex mix.

At least we have good food even if it's not a good game.

Notes

This is the note I left for Richie before I left for work the other day.

I thought he had a puppy toy until he refused to open his mouth. Then I knew he had something he wasn't supposed to but it was dark so I let him in the house. When I heard the rock hit the dining room floor I really knew it wasn't a puppy toy. It only took a few laps around the coffee table before I had him cornered on the sofa and was able to pry his mouth open.

Same dog, different day...

In this house...

... we like to hang out with our pup and wear orange.

Just a little bit of us being us and getting over our colds.

Moto-snap

Bikers ride up and down our street all day but they don't usually stop across the street and start taking pictures with their cell phones.

It seems these people wanted a picture of this:

We watched them use their cell phones to take a couple of pictures. Once I realized what they were up to of course I had to take pictures of them taking pictures of our house like a goof ball. I was ready to go ask them if they wanted me to take a picture and e-mail it to them when they got back on their bike and left.

We weren't sure if we should think it was strange that they wanted a picture of our porch or to be happy that they liked our house enough to take a picture???

I think these are the first pictures I have posted that I used my kit lens for. I suppose it's not too bad.

Two more

Two more pictures from Sunday.

One of my favorite little man...

...and one of my favorite big man.

Both of these were taken with the grace of God after the lens accident. I somehow managed to get both shots with the only focal length that still focused.

Little Cards

Cardinal Green vs. Cardinal Red

Jacob's team won 21-0!

I'm glad he wears the same number as Richie did. It's easy for me to remember!

They thought the cheerleaders were more interesting than the game during the 4th quarter.

They look like the varsity players... just smaller.

We have no idea who this kid is but he took one heck of a shot. They hit pretty hard for 3rd and 4th graders!
