Boys Baseball

We could have gone to a game every night last week! All of the rain at the start of the season has made for some crazy schedules.

We went to watch Zach on Tuesday night...

and Bryce play on Thrursday.

NP All Star Scrimage

Everyone was wearing red and black for this game... It was a little hard to tell who was on which team.

outfield = boring!

We are excited to go to the first real All Star game on Saturday. These kids are pretty dang good!

Tis the Season

It's the time of year to start making the rounds to see everyone play baseball.

We went to watch Zach last week and I actually managed to get a few photos of him
looking like he was playing, the rest of the time he was providing the comic relief... and it sure was funny.

Tournament Time

Just a few from the tournaments. Baseball is done until next May. Time to get ready for football.

Pitchers Duel

Two nights, two games, two pitchers to photograph!

Al's still a beast.

Julie trying to beat out a bunt.

They look cute now but these people were teasing me mercilessly. The worst part was Handy Manny. He was encouraging it!

Jacob got the call for his team too. I'm not sure how many games he has pitched but he looked pretty much at ease on the mound.

The very next inning the sent him behind the plate. Talk about being a utility player!

Batter Up!

On Thursday we went to watch Walker boy #2 take the field. He looked too sweet in his little uniform.

Zach sporting "Ralph". Watch out girls!

Of course when the game is almost over and your pants are still dirt free you have to slide into home.

"Good" Friday

Could have been "Great" Friday if it wouldn't have rained on our Opening Day.

We managed to snap some pictures between the raindrops...

There were some pretty cool festivities. The Ohio State Marching Band was the best part.

This was taken before it started raining... Notice the smiles. They were suddenly absent after sitting in 40 degree weather while your hands, arms, legs, whole self was soaked.

After a three and a half hour rain delay they are starting to play again. This time we will be watching from the comfort of our own sofa not a cold, plastic, wet stadium seat.
