I had so much fun singing along that I only took 12 pictures... woah!

Chris Tomlin was the main reason we wanted to go on Saturday.

This girl sung with him and Toby Mac. I was so exited to see her. She led worship at church a few months ago and did a great job.

These kids can't wait to go back next year!

Blue Bird Inn

After an impromptu dinner and the most delicious "chocolate" pork chops ever we decided to go for a strut around the Blue Bird Inn.

I didn't have my big camera with me so I used my cell phone camera to take these. I was actually really surprised how nice they turned out.

Handy picked a flower for me to wear in my hair so of course we had to take a picture.

Let's Jam!

I have wanted to make homemade jam since we moved two summers ago. I suppose it has something to do with all of the Amish in the area (they make everything homemade and it's all super tasty) and finally having my own kitchen to use. Since I knew we were going to pick strawberries I knew I would have enough to make some jam.

I was surprised that it really wasn't too hard, even for me... I think the hardest part was not getting the juice everywhere when crushing the berries.

Lots of stirring made me happy...

Bevo had to supervise.

I ended up with 9 containers of jam and I only used half of the berries we picked.

Berry Fun

Anybody can buy strawberries in the store. We decided to go pick them...

It was pretty fun to "hunt and peck" for strawberries. The ladies in the field said that all the rain we had ruined a lot of the crop but we still found some nice ones. I felt like a grandma when I stood up after being bent over for so long.

Yum-o!
