Mmmmmm

Dinner was so yummy tonight that I didn't take the time to take a picture until after I was finished.

Day off??

Plan for the day: Sit in the sun and read...

There was not much sitting nor much reading that went on.

Bevo decided he was going to steal his pup toy out of the cabinet when I wasn't watching.

Then he decided to stick his head in some black stuff in the back yard. That resulted in not one, but two baths for his dome.

After I cleaned up the dog and did some yard work I thought maybe making zucchini bread was a good idea... not so much.

At least it looks yummy right?

Bathroom Before and After

It seems that cheapest isn't always best when paint is involved.

The green color that was in the bathroom when we moved really didn't match our towels. No big deal. We can paint it. The tan color looked really nice for a few months and then these lovely water spots started showing up when we took a shower. At first it was just after we ran the hot water and the bathroom was steamy. Then they became permanent, yucky, mildew-y looking splotches that never went away.

Rather than having nasty looking walls we decided to buy some better paint and paint the bathroom for the second time in 11 months. Hopefully this is the last time we have to paint it unless we want to change the color.

The color is a little different but we actually like it better and there are no gross water spots! Hooray!

On the road again

Lots of pictures from the way home...

Sunrise as we left the island.

Cooper turned 36!

I was super excited to go to Roush Fenway...

and get my picture taken with Carl Edwards' car!

This is my angry face after we wasted 2 hours and couldn't find a 99 shirt in my size.

These feet are stuck in traffic.

Check out that burn line... at least I didn't start looking like a lobster until the day we left.

More from Savannah

I wanted to post these a few days ago but the internet at the McDondald's was a little slow and large photo files were making it slower...

Johnson Square... I loved how the trees made a canopy over the fountain.

Pictures by the river.

These feet were waiting to eat at Tubby's Tank House.

Mmmmmm... Taffy is perhaps the best part of the trip! I remember these bins from when I was little.

Hey Y'all!

After leaving the house at 7:45, driving and hour and a half, standing in line from 8:50 until 9:30, we had reservations for the 11:00 lunch seating at Paula Deen's!

Both me and Handy had the lunch buffet. Best fried chicken, iced tea and banana pudding ever!

Steps, Supper and Sunset

Yesterday we climbed the 114 stairs to the top of the Harbour Town Light House...

had dinner at Crazy Crab. I had soup, the Handy Man had crab boil and about two dozen hush puppies...

and walked out to the end of the pier to take some sunset pictures.

Who loves the beach???
We do!

(Handy Manny likes it more than it looks like in this picture. I forgot to tell him to smile before we took it)

We live in the city - Part 2

We live in the city... That means no outdoor power outlets. We usually don't mind except for when we want to sweep out the cars.

That would be an extension cord hanging out the front window.
We live in the city.

Happy Sunday

After all the excitement of the last few days it's nice to have a quiet day at home.

Happy Sunday!

Zoo Day!

We saw lots of animals at the zoo! It was really fun even if it did rain a couple of times. We were there the whole time they were open and almost didn't get to see everything. I liked the tigers and Handy Manny liked the wolves but we both liked the monkeys.

By the time we got done these dogs were super tired!
