Cozy Cookies
I don't know if it was the chilly weather or what but I had the urge to do some baking this afternoon. I would have made chocolate chip but Cyan isn't here to share them with me. I knew Richie really likes snickerdoodles so I made a batch. If I don't make cookies that he likes I end up eating all of them myself and that's not so good.
Nothing is better than warm cookies and a cold glass of milk on a blustery afternoon!

Post 150
150 posts in a little over a year... go me!
Here are some from Saturday. The only ones that turned out are the ones I took outside. The lighting was funky inside and the batteries in my flash were dead. These ones are pretty cute though.
I love how her tongue is sticking out just a little in this one.

Still more...
My big love and little love in matching tuxedos. Aren't they precious!
OT - Looking pretty :o)
Look at all the Garrotts! (Click on this one to make it bigger. It's much easier to see everyone's face)

15 minutes
It seems that someone (with four legs and a tail) was left alone for 15 minutes...
decided that his toys didn't look as fun as digging at the bottom step...
and helped us find out that we have hardwood floors underneath the living room carpet.
From now on he will be spending all of his "alone" time in his box.

Time for Halloween
Lots of pumpkins have started popping up around red door!
All that is missing is candy for the trick-or-treaters. We can't buy it yet because I would eat it all before they get here!

Monkey Munch!
9 cups chex cereal (we used walmart brand corn chex)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine / butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine in a microwave bowl (High power for 1 min)
Stir. If it doesn't stir easily put it back in for 30 seconds. Add vanilla. Add cereal. Mix to coat.
Put powdered sugar in 2 gallon zipper bag. Add cereal to bag and shake.
I had been talking about making this forever and we decided to go get the stuff to make it at Walmart since we had to go buy a new football for the little neighbor boys. (Bevo decided to make their old one into a chew toy). It did turn out really yummy and Richie and I had to go put the bowl away before we ate it all while watching the race.
