PL 2013 - Week 12

Tuesday: Coopie turned 76! I've driven 76,000 miles in 7 years which includes 2 trips to Columbus and one to Hilton Head. Maybe Coopie will make it to 150,000 miles in 14 years???

Wednesday: Our sweet Girly isn't feeling too well. She has been running a temp. since Monday night. It got up to 103 so we went to the doctor. He says there is an infection in there somewhere and gave her some medicine. Hopefully it helps.

Thursday: Sharing some chips with da-da. Hopefully she doesn't like them as much as he does. We could never afford to support two chip and dip addictions.

Friday: I am so ready for Spring and so is my skin! I lotion my hands all the time and they still get so dry that they bleed. I am so tired of being itchy. Warmer weather hurry up quick!

Saturday: Gracie got to play with her buddy Kenzie. Miss Carol hasn't had both of her babies together since the fall. She was in baby heaven.

Sunday: I finally got a spring wreath for my door. It was time to take down the Christmas / Winter one for something new. Miss Carol helped me make this and I love the way it turned out.

Monday: An unexpected (and really unwanted) spring snow storm caused school to close today. That meant extra time for the Girly and I to sit around in our pj's. Too bad this one put us over our limit and takes one day from spring break.

PL 2013 - Week 11

Tuesday: Last year at this time I was wearing flip flops and trying to find some summer maternity clothes. This year it's snowing. I would like to exchange this spring for last spring.

Wednesday: Gracie Girl got an early birthday present in the mail. I think it's one of the cutest things I've seen in awhile. She likes to take the letters out and chew on them.

Thursday: Our big girl helped da-da take out the recycling. She pushed the bin almost all the way to the front door.

Friday: The Easter bunny came to visit the Girly a little early. A basket full of puffs and other toddler treats = one happy munchkin.

Saturday: We were doing some more 1st birthday shopping and met up with Nana and Pappy for lunch out a Five Guys. The Peanut doing awesome with her eating. She shared a hamburger with me and some fries with Da-da No more texture trouble for our Girl.

Sunday: Someone thinks they are "helping" with the laundry.

Monday: Self feeding may seem like it would be less work for Mom and Dad however, less time spent feeding = more time spent cleaning up afterward.

PL 2013 - Week 10

Tuesday: The Girl is 11 months old! Stats:19-ish lbs. Size 9 month clothes. Size 3 diaper. Size 3 shoe. 8 teeth (all in the front). Eating 3 sold meals / 4 bottles a day. She likes to have caramel rice cakes, chex, string cheese and fig newtons for snacks. Still taking 2 naps, sometimes sleeps through the night.

Favorites: food: anything she can feed herself, toys: stacking cups and activity walker, words: dada and uh-oh. Moved up from the carrier to the rear-facing "big girl"car seat. Went to the chiropractor to get her neck adjusted and hopefully clear up the ear infections she has had.

Wednesday: We picked up these tennis shoes at Target a few weeks ago. The girl loves them! She is pretty good about not taking them off and they give her better traction on the dining room floor.

Thursday: The fur on this boy tells us that spring is coming! He is shedding like crazy. There are tumbleweeds in his pup box and all over the floor. We are contemplating a new sweeper to keep up with all of the fluff.

Friday: These pictures of the Girly were taken exactly 1 year apart. What a difference 365 days makes.

Saturday: Happy Birthday Miss Carol! Miss Carol shared her cake with the Girl and let have her own piece with frosting. She said the Peanut needed to practice for her birthday cake in less than a month.

Sunday: When we went to First Christian our Sunday lunch was always Taco Bell. We haven't been eating there a lot but I wanted to try the new cool ranch locos taco. It was pretty yummy.

Monday: We switched our television back to Dish. Pretty sad you have to switch satellite providers every 2 years to save money.

PL 2013 - Week 9

Tuesday: Who needs toys when you have tupperware??? This drawer is the Girl's favorite thing to play with in the kitchen. She empties it multiple times a week (sometimes multiple times a day!)

Wednesday: Starbucks for the Keurig... Always a treat.

Thursday: We had to add some cabinet locks to the kitchen cabinets. Someone likes to open and close doors. We put one on the television stand too. Thank goodness I can actually open these ones. The clip ones were too tough for my chicken wings.

Friday: Someone was too tired to finish eating before their nap. Might as well nap at the table. I wonder if she was dreaming of puffs.

Saturday: Hanging at the car show with my two favorite peeps.

Sunday: Since I take so many pictures of what we eat I decided to take a picture of what the Girly is eating. She liked the carrots and broccoli best.

Monday: Late night trip to Canton for calling hours = late night snack of Tony Pako's Sweet and Hot pickles.

PL 2013 - Week 8

Tuesday: Someone is on the move! The girly was walking behind her activity walker.  It has been almost exactly 2 months since she got out of the harness.

Wednesday: I'm glad that the Girl shows interest in doing dishes. That is my least favorite chore and will probably be one of the first she gets assigned to do for her allowance. Right now she loves to pull up on the dishwasher door and get the silverware out.

Thursday: Since more self-feeding has been going on Bevo has learned that the best place for him to hang out is near the girl's high chair. She tends to drop little snacks for him on a regular basis.

Friday: Neither of us were very hungry for pizza this week. We had too much red sauce earlier on in the week so we got chicken for dinner.  Handy was in heaven and the Girly liked the biscuit we let her eat.

Saturday: Dinner out with Grandpa, Grandma and Great Grandma Fawver. We ordered a pancake for the Girl and they made it look like Mickey mouse. She ate part of it and shared the rest with dada. Mmmmmmm, breakfast for dinner!

Sunday: Happy Daytona 500 Day! I'm ready to watch the big race with my two favorite race fans! Come on Carl! The Peanut was even sporting her number 99 onesie (it's size 3-6 months but still fits!)

Monday: Eggy loves to watch the Brady Bunch on tv. We have been turning it on while we get dinner ready and she loves to watch the beginning. I don't know if it's the song or the blue boxes but she stops what she is doing to watch.
