Soccer Saturday

We decided to go watch Anthony play soccer since we both had the day off. It sure was hot sitting in the sun but the kids were so cute. They call it soccer but it looked more liked a bunch of kids chasing a ball and Anthony falling on the ground.

A little pre-game warm up...

I tried my best to get some good pictures but the camera was having a hard time focusing because of all the movement. Some turned out alright though.

I think he looks just like the big high school boys in this one!

Final score: Blue 4 Green 2
Go Blue!

Sun and Stripes

Instead of getting ready for work on time I thought it was a great idea to stand on the side walk in my pajamas and take pictures of the sunrise. I was so pretty that I thought about getting up and watching it again tomorrow but them I realized tomorrow is Saturday. There's no way this girl is getting up at 6:15 on a Saturday to take pictures. Ha!

We finally got some annuals for our front flower bed. We couldn't decide between red and white so we got these mixed ones. They look nice in front of red door.

He fought the "log"

It seems that the fastest and least expensive way to get rid of a stump is the burn it with charcoal. Since Richie had a few days off this week he figured he would give it a try.

Too bad we didn't have the stuff for smores!

Apparently the internet wasn't lying because a few short hours later the stump was no longer a permanent lawn ornament but rather a movable piece of lawn art!

Of course Bevo had to supervise. Here he is with one of his peeps.

The dining room rug!

It look really nice with the wood floor. Now we just have to pick the red color for the walls.
